Cool Fan Made Live Action Ghost in The Shell

PROJECT 2501 : HOMAGE TO GHOST IN THE SHELL


Most of the blogs and websites that I've come across about this topic are calling this a fan film, but from looking at the video and further reading up about Project 2051. It's pretty safe to say that the above video is a preview for another short that well be released in a few months from now.

The above video is a series of behind the scenes footage and still pictures from Project 2501. Supposedly when Project 2501 is finished it will be a fully live action rendition of the opening scene for Mamoru Oshii's 1995 Japanese anime classic Ghost in the Shell.

In my opinion the greatest anime and existentialist films ever made.
