Turns out Headbanging to your favorite heavy metal tunes can give you brain damage. At least that's what one a new report from the latest issue of The Lancet says.
According to the article, back in January of 2013 a 50-year-old male Motörhead fan had been suffering for 2 weeks with a really bad headache that was becoming constantly worse as time went by. The man had no history of head trauma and denied any substance abuse/misuse, but about a month before he had went to a see Motörhead concert.
After visiting a neurosurgical department, and being put through a series of tests. A "subdural hemorrhage" was discovered on the right side of the man’s brain. To read the rest of the article click the following link - "The Lancet."
So basically all that nagging by mother's of heavy metal fans from the 80's, 90's, and 2000's was spot on.
